A festival doesn’t happen just by itself – the Big City Blues crew needs a lot of helping hands during the festival to get everything running! We’re searching for plenty of volunteers, as well as 6-8 super volunteers. Have a look at what suits you best. Any help is very much appreciated!
Volunteers
There will be short volunteering shifts of 1,5 hours available during the festival. A few weeks before the festival starts, you can sign up for 1 or more shifts. In return you get our big gratitude and drink tickets.
Supervolunteers

We are looking for a small team of 8 supervolunteers that join us, the main organization team, in the beauty and craziness behind Big City Blues. This means a lot of work, but also a great lot of fun, inspiration, teamwork, excitement and next to this of course time for dancing, music and joining the festival.
Every supervolunteer will be assigned one big task over the 3 days of the festival. This task will either happen every day or at the evenings of the festival. We will assign the tasks before the festival, and make sure that everyone gets to do a job they like. Because the most important thing of course is that you like your work, and that you have a good time during the festival!
You will be involved for around 5 hours every day, depending on the workload of your task. Additionally, just like the main organization team, you might be asked to jump in for some other small jobs, that come up unexpectedly.
If you would like to join, you need to be available from March 8 during the day – March 10. If possible even on Monday 11th for the clean up.
